While the facts of the case are still in dispute, for many the story of Ferguson, Missouri has become a symbol of the larger social divides in America, exposing a persistent disconnect along lines of race, class and identity. Through conversations and special reports, PBS and host, Gwen Ifill is leading the way in helping race relations in American by hosting Town Hall meetings and opening up a dialogue between the racial divides. AMERICA AFTER FERGUSON is the first of such discussions. The meeting aired on PBS 9-26-12. In the meetings PBS explores the complex questions raised by the events in Ferguson.
