Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff Reunite For A performance Of Their Classic ‘Summertime'(VIDEO)

although the duo never said they broke up , it’s been eons ago since the group , that made history as the first rap group to win a Grammy , reunited to perform their classic ‘Summertime’.

It’s been almost 30 years since the duos groundbreaking 1985 debut but you could hardly tell from the looks of Will Smith’s rock hard abs , as he was clearly into form when the group returned to the stage at the Palms in Las Vegas to perform for the surprised audience.

The group received the first Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 1989 for “Parents Just Don’t Understand”, though their most successful single was “Summertime” which earned the group their second Grammy and peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Will Smith and Jeff Townes are still friends and claim that they never split up, having made songs under Smith’s solo performer credit. DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince have sold over 5.5 million albums in the US.
