Watch Kevin Hart’s Moving Message To Fellow Black Actors Who Boycotted The Oscars

| February 29, 2016 | 0 Comments

Kevin Hart just knew he would get a chance to be in the front row this year at the Oscars being that he was one of a handful of black actors who attended last night’s show. But jokingly he said it didn’t happen. But he did get noticed with his tux which add shiny stuff on it.

While most black actors opted to boycott the Oscars for the lack of diversity displayed among those nominated this year, Kevin Hart — proudly walked the red carpet in order to represent their race and their hard work.

He came with a very moving message to his fellow black actors:

“I just want to take a second to get something off my chest. I’m a positive guy…and I feel like positivity overall beats negativity. I want to take a moment to applaud all of my actors and actresses of color that didn’t get nominated tonight.

I want them to understand that tonight should not determine the hard work and effort that you put into your craft. At the end of the day, we love what we do and we’re breaking major ground doing it. Let’s not let this negative issue of diversity beat us. Let’s continue to do what we do best and work hard.”
