The old adage “Sticks and Stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me” is a BOLD FACE LIE!

The words you use are more powerful than you imagine , more powerful than a fist , dagger or even a gun. Apart from surface greetings used to enlighten one’s day , words have the power to arouse our emotion , the very core of our individualism because words have the power to live within us for even a lifetime.

This is why we should harness the power of word to build up ourselves and our love ones.

Starting with the three most powerful words: “I love you!”

The song by Stevie Wonder he implores us to take the time to say these sweet and simple words:

“These three words
Sweet and simple
These three words
Short and kind
These three words
Always kindles
An aching heart to smile inside”

Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

Proverbs 12:18

There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Proverbs 16:24

Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
