It’s hard to believe that it has been 20 years since legendary rapper Notorious B.I.G. was a victim of gun violence.
Thursday, March 9th, will mark 20 years since the rapper was murdered in a case that still remains unsolved. One institution that is helping to ensure his memory lives on is CUNY school Medgar Evers College.
The school, located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and named after slain black civil rights activist Medgar Wiley Evers, recently unveiled a large sculpture of Biggie’s face on display in the library.
