Gone are the days of his bizarre Gandolf hat.

Since becoming close pals with Karl Lagerfeld, fashion-loving Pharrell Williams has fallen in love with a new eccentric accessory – a pair of futuristic circle-rimmed Chanel glasses.

Pharrell teamed the shades with a camouflage hat, stonewashed jeans and a baggy white T-shirt.

Noticeably, the US star completed his ensemble with a Renaissance-inspired denim jacket, which was no doubt another nod to his friend Mr Lagerfeld.
Pharrell of course wore a very similar jacket when he collaborated with the Chanel designer last year on a short film entitled Renaissance.

The Happy singer stars and sings in the seven-minute clip alongside supermodel Cara Delevigne.

In the footage, both Cara and Pharrell sing the singer’s new song CC The World, which he specifically wrote for the project at the request of Mr Lagerfeld.

Directed by the king of fashion himself, the film tells the tale of the fashion house’s founder Gabrielle Chanel, and the inspiration behind her iconic Chanel jacket.
The footage shows Ms Chanel holidaying in a luxurious hotel in the suburbs of Salzburg, Austria, in 1954.
During her stay, she crosses paths with a lift boy – played by Pharrell – who just so happens to be wearing the piece that would later inspire the original Chanel jacket.
Speaking about his collaboration with Pharrell, Mr Lagerfeld said: ‘He was easy to work with, very pleasant. He’s very professional.’
