In most relationships, the time to say goodbye usually arrives at one point or another — unless you intend to walk down the aisle, of course (and even then…). With your ex, you’ve shared memories that will either make you laugh or cry. But one thing is certain: keeping the intimate details as memories and not feel an emotional connection is difficult, if not impossible.

But when it’s time to take your experiences, put them in your back pocket and move on most find it hard to stay friends. But somewhere on the road of parting ways couples feel the need to promise to stay friends — which ultimately leads to more broken promises. Which brings the question:

Is it possible to remain friends with an ex?

Naomi Campbell, the legendary supermodel and charismatic social butterfly manages the impossible. She defy the rules of dating, remaining friends with her ex-lover.

Campbell briefly dated Diddy in 2002 yet remains good friends with the hip hop mogul long after the relationship fizzled. Not only that, the supermodel even joins her ex-boo on yacht trips, looking super hot I might add.

Although Diddy is in a serious relationship with current girlfriend Casandra Ventura, known monotonously as Cassie. Cassie considers Campbell to be a mentor and like a sister to her, as Cassie shows her love on social media: “Sister. Always in my Heart”
