Still feeling the effects of heartbreak? K. Michelle shows there’s life after a tough breakup.

One could say she is the queen at expressing pain, and betrayal. If it is true what they say: ‘experience is the greatest teacher’ then the 31-year-old has a lot to share in her female empowering themed songs.

Broken promises and abusive relationships according to rumors help K. Michelle home in on the emotions needed for her power ballads.

You can say the beginning was when years ago the father of her son ended up marrying her sorority sister. Instead of allowing the betrayal of her love ones to consume and break her she used the pain to empower her artistry and lead a movement of female expressionism.

The songstress has reportedly been in the studio with Sevyn Streeter & T-Pain working on the follow-up to her sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? Kicking off the album campaign, the R&B singer drops the lead off single to her untitled 3rd album called “Not A Little Bit.” The single is available for purchase on iTunes.
On the groove, Michelle reflects on the negative aspects of her past relationship, and realizes being is single is A-ok: “It’s gonna take a miracle this time, to make me change my mind / I’m a lone and doing fine, so I leave it all behind,” she sings on the first verse.

Going over the piano-laced production, K Michelle delivers a heartfelt ballad that finds her singing about moving on from her past relationship and not looking back.
