R. Kelly , the most successful R&B male vocalist of our time , with over 100 million records sold worldwide , was dropped from a Ohio festival after protest stemming from past allegations of sexual misconduct.

Kelly , who continues to deliver sexually themed content in his albums , with songs such as ‘Bump n Grind’ , ‘Your body’s calling’ , ‘Trapped in the closet’ and ‘Black panties’ , said he is releasing a sequel to ‘Black Panties’ next year called called ‘White Panties’.

Concert promoters reacted to the swarm of social media complaints calling for them to pull the Grammy-winning singer from the three-day festival in Columbus , Ohio , over the Labor Day weekend.

Kell’s publicist released a statement about the festival’s decision to drop R.Kelly saying:

“R.Kelly is sorry to disappoint his fans but looks forward to seeing them in the near future during one of his upcoming tours.”
