Actor and comedian Kevin Hart woke up his 19.6 million Twitter followers not with a joke but with a serious invitation for a run through Atlanta’s Piedmont Park on Friday.

“Up & at it…we are about to get this spontaneous 5K run in this morning!!!!” he tweeted.

And he made sure fans knew he wanted only those who were ready to run.

He tweeted: “I’m serious about this” and “This is about health & challenging yourselves.”

The run was part of his partnership with Rally Health.

After the race Kevin Hart told sources that he was impressed with the turnout. More than 100 people showed up including members from Black men run and black girls run.

Hart, who’s been in movies including “Ride Along” and “Think Like A Man,” is scheduled to perform Friday and Saturday nights in Atlanta.

“This mornings “Spontaneous 5K Run” in Atlanta was a success….Major shoutout to all of the people that came out and ran with me this morning. I finished my run right around 22min & some change….that’s a personal best!!!! I’m getting better people”
