Judge Denies Nia Guzman Full Custody Request Of Royalty Brown, Orders Her To Pay Back $20K To Chris Brown
Chris Brown wins another favorable decision in the custody battle with his child Royalty’s mom.
The singer who was in a battle with Nia Guzman was able to shut down all of her requests including her having full custody, Chris having to be monitored during visitation, Chris’s mom being barred from seeing the child, and Chris submitting drug tests.
Chris and Nia will remain with their original joint custody agreement, according to TMZ. Brown currently sees his daughter about 12 days out of the month.
Brown was awarded joint custody last September, a decision that was confirmed by another judge this May.
Nia’s loss in court means that she has to pay back the attorney fees that Chris fronted her after the judge initially ordered Chris to pay her $20,000 so she could afford a lawyer.
A follow-up hearing regarding child support was dropped by Nia after the loss. Chris currently gives her $2,500 a month. She was requesting $16,000.
