Jordan Peele Becomes 1st Black Rookie Director With $100M Film Debut

After an impressive opening weekend at the box office, Jordan Peele’s hit movie ‘Get Out’ continues to captivate audiences through the power of word of mouth and the hilarious #getouchallenges which have further brought attention to the movie.

So much so that the 38-year-old former Key & Peele comedian has made history in his directorial debut. According to reports, In just its third weekend in theaters, Get Out has made Jordan Peele the first black writer-director to earn $100 million with his debut movie.
