Ice Cube confirms the long-awaited next installment is on the way.

During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Cube announced the fourth sequel was, in fact, on the way.

“We’re working on one right now,” Cube said. “We’re gonna call it Last Friday.”

The original movie which starred Ice Cube, Chris Tucker, Bernie Mac, Regina King and Nia Long was released in 1995.

It was followed by Next Friday in 2000, and Friday After Next in 2002. Cube said the title of the movie is ‘Last Friday’. Though Cube did confirm the movie is in production, no other details about Last Friday have been revealed.
