BET taped its’ annual BET Honors Awards show last night , honoring the crowning achievements of African-Americans and although the show will be broadcast during black history month due to social media it’s almost impossible to keep the highlights of the show a secret before the broadcast date. One of the highlights was that Kanye West was awarded the prestigious Visionary Award. The awkwardness came when Dame Dash , Kanye’s former boss at Roc-a-fella , who didn’t respect him as a rapper presented him with the award. And although the beef between the two goes back almost fifteen years as Kanye sided with Jay Z when the co-founders of the label decided to go their own separate ways , a humbled Dash presented him with the award saying he still have issues with the man , but “they’re emotional”.
