French Motana, Jay Z , Diddy And Others In The Hip Hop Community Pay Their Respects To Chinx

The hip hop community mourns the death of Chinx of the Coke Boys. In an Instagram the leader of the Coke Boys French Montana expressed his condolences to Chinx’s children and family:

“I’m sad to see my brother go out like this,” the Bad Boy signee stated. “One of the realest people I met. This s— is not right. These streets don’t love us. My prayers go to his kids and family. We going to finish off what we started.”

Montana also posted Jay Z giving a shout out to the slain rapper at his B-Side concert Sunday night:

“The devil comes in all shapes and sizes and he’s ruthless. Life here is temporary. They will kill you for this lifestyle, if they can’t afford it jealousy is a motherfucker Protect yourself, protect the people you love. I’m sad to see my brother go out like this, one of the realest people I met. This shit’s not right. These streets don’t love us My prayers go to his kids and family. We going to finish off what we started. #RIPCHINX”

Khloe Kardashian, who’s been dating Montana for the past year, also shared her feelings about Chinx on her Instagram page.

“We’ve only known each other a short time but it was the best time, full of memories that I will cherish forever. I miss you Chinxy,” wrote the reality star. She also posted a photo of herself jet-skiing with Chinx, who was shot and killed in a drive by in New York City this past Sunday while driving his Porsche.

Chinx’ widow Janelli Pickens broke her silence and spoke out about the murder of her husband to Eyewitness News on Monday night.

Janelli:

“It is a hard time, we are going through a lot. It’s a very devastating situation, his kids are greatly affected by all this. They don’t quite understand, but it will hit them soon. For his son, who doesn’t understand why God’s angels have come and taken his father, he just wants to know when he’s going to bring him back, and it’s hard, it’s very hard. A lot of people don’t understand that this was his life, was his family.”

Chinx and Janelli who grew up together in Far Rockaway, were married for eight years and have two daughters, ages 14 and 11, and a 4-year old son.
