Draymond Green Attack And Flop Shenanigans Return As Warriors Win Game 1 Against Cavs

It was a game that no one was expecting. And it wasn’t because LeBron James arrived in business as usual attire. Below Lebron came into game 1 of the Toronto series suited in Tom Ford…he and the Cavs have been all business so far this postseason. And it wasn’t because they weren’t expecting Draymond Green not to be up to his attack and flop shenanigans. The Warriors won game one on the strength of their bench. NBA MVP Steph Curry and Klay Thompson combined to score a meager 20 points on 29 percent shooting but Golden State’s bench outscored Cleveland’s, 45-10.

The Warriors trying to stake their claim as the greatest team of all-time, the city of Cleveland trying to win its first championship in since 1964, LeBron trying to cement his legacy.

But Thursday night boiled down to the role players, with Shaun Livingston’s podium game compensating for an off-night from Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. The backup point guard finished with a team-high 20 points in 27 minutes, proving a tough matchup for Cleveland with his length and versatility. Game 1 goes to Warriors. See more highlights below:
