The imprisoned ex music mogul Suge Knight filed legal docs alleging that Dr. Dre conspired with the Los Angeles police department to have him murdered at a West Hollywood Night Club in August of 2014 where Knight was shot 6 times but survived.
On Friday Knight’s new Lawyer Thaddeus Culpepper filed a motion alleging massive cover up in which Dr. Dre conspired with police to have him killed . The motion further argues that Knight is being held in lock down without communication or visitation privileges in order to prevent him from connecting his current murder case with the night club shooting.
Suge Knight’s new lawyer Culpepper has even provided a series of evidence to help in proving the allegations.
The court documents state that video shows Deputy Henry Boyd letting the gunman inside the club. Additionally, according to the documents, the gunman at the Hollywood night club allegedly confessed to receiving $50,000 from Dr. Dre to kill Knight.
Culpepper also reveals that Knight has been without phone, mail, and visitor privileges in an attempt to keep the former music exec from connecting his murder case and the shooting in 2014.
As of today (April 5), TMZ reports that a rep for Dr. Dre has dubbed Culpepper’s claims “ridiculous.”
Suge Knight is currently in jail. In February 2015, Knight was charged with murder and attempted murder following a fatal hit-and-run in Compton, California on the set of ‘Straight Outta Compton’. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
