50 Cent has filed for federal bankructcy protection, days after a jury ordered him to pay $5 million in an invasion-of privacy lawsuit.

The rapper/entrepreneur was liable after he acquired and shared a sex tape that Lavonia Leviston made with her boyfriend without permission. Leviston, who is rapper Rick Ross’ baby mother said that Fiddy used the tape as a publicity stunt, as well as means to diss Rick Ross.

This is the second lawsuit against Fiddy within a year. In December Fiddy had his bank account frozen after failing to pay a $17 million judgement against him after he lost a Sleek Audio judgment. Sleek claimed Fiddy stole its design and then tried marketing it on his own. The law sided with Sleek, and 50 got hit with the massive judgment.

Fiddy’s attorneys and his publicist did not immediately respond to phone and email requests seeking comment on Monday.
